I don’t see why you want to tax the rich and give to the poor. What makes the poor deserving of any free handouts. I understand what your saying about some people being conservative and materialistic. I know its funny because the bible does speak about giving to others BUT your answer is to take there money by force and give to some bum who doesn’t have a job. That is ridiculous. Someone having bad morals is no justification for taking there money.

Wow, if your last blog was Satire, your about as funny as Al Franken.

I’d consider myself a conservative, yet I’m an Athiest, and I believe in Abortions if I knock a gal up! However, I find it funny that Liberals believe that you MUST respect everyones beliefs….. unless your Christian. You had better not make fun of Allah, but that Jesus dude can be joked at anytime! I’ll laugh at those jokes, but I’ll also laugh at anyone elses stupid beliefs, as I really don’t care. Can we stop the Hypocrisy please?

I never said anything about giving money to the poor. I want to fund public works and education, so Christianity (and every other religion for that matter - I’ll hate on Allah on another post because Islam is even more radical and retarded) would slowly wither away. Christianity is too based in fiction and fantasy to survive in an educated population. I am idealistic, I don’t expect religion to go away during my lifetime. Yes, religion does do good things in some cases. Most of the time, though, it’s used as a crutch and an excuse. The excuse for not having a fulfilling life is the bleak hope you’ll go to heaven afterwards. It’s also open to interpretation, meaning you can use it to justify anything, like this PRO-LIFE bullshit (a child isn’t a child until it’s born - simple as that) and excuses for war and homophobia.

Like I said, I am idealistic. I know none of this stuff will ever happen. If you meet me in person, I am far from being this completely off the wall. I use this forum to vent my frustrations with humanity. I make no apologies for that. Conservative RELIGIONS, not just Christians, are ruining the world. By conservative I mean fundamentalist/terrorist/hatred branches of religions. I admire many people of religion, like Rev. King and Gandhi, both of which were highly spiritual people. If religion was practiced as intended, I would still be an athiest, but I would respect these people a lot more.

I never once in this article said all Christians, I said either some, most, or Conservative. Come on! If I hated all Christians, I’d have a pretty lonely existance, wouldn’t I?

Tickles - you make good posts but you make some dumbass comments. I hate all religions equally, just take shots at Christianity because they are in control of my government and they pish their beliefs on me. Islam is a lot worse and even nuttier, but ti doesn’t concern me as much.

I was making that point in general, just as you made general comments on Conservatives. Also, my posts haven’t been trying to be an ass to you, I just disagree with you on the political statements.

“Christianity my friend is what spreads the food, clothing, and provides shelter to all countries, therefore they are following the gospel of Christ.”
They very well do this but at the same time DESTROY the native inhabitants culture and way of life by insisting that the christian god is the one true god. What the christian missionaries are implying here when they go into a group of natives and attempt to change their culture and way of life is that the christian god is better than their god(s). What i want to know is why do so many people think this way is the correct way? Why not buddhism? Seems like a much more respectable path in life to me. Less killing involved with that religion too.
